Last night, I marathoned the first two episodes of QAF and realised something: not only was this the first time I'd watched the pilot in a while (I've always considered the first two episodes the pilot), but it was the first time I'd watched any QAF episode for a while. I'd forgotten how much I love it and why I love it. The story, the characters, the sex... and, above all else, the characters.

So, that's why I'm now holding my own marathon of all five seasons in order, and I'm wondering if anyone would like to join me. I'm going to watch - or try to watch - an episode a week, but I'm not planning on any specific time or date because whenever I do that, real life usually ends up getting in the way and I'm not very good at commitment, anyway. I will, however, be posting my thoughts on my journal, whether those thoughts turn into meta or fic or an in-depth analysis of a character or just 'My God, I love Justin'. I'll probably be trying to get these thoughts up every Sunday, but as with watching the episodes, it will happen when it happens.

I'm going for something very loose and breezy here. I'll be watching when I can and posting when I can and if I miss a week, so what? I'm really, really hoping that at least one person will join me, whether they want to discuss the episode here at my journal or post their thoughts on it on their own journal. Let me know if you do, yeah?

Also, as I was posting this, Tweak said, "I've just seen the face of God." I'm taking that as a good sign :D

	i am always up for a marathon..!! so hopefully i will be able to attend,but it will be depend it upon when you can..but yea.. and tweak just said.. "or coming then staying" (Reply to this) (Thread)

Yay! I just realised, though, that I didn't make my plan incredibly clear; I never really do, to tell the truth.

I won't be posting here while I watch. I want to just be able to watch an episode without having to be at the computer or have my laptop on my lap while I do; I'll be posting my thoughts or discussions or whatever on here later. I'm just hoping people will join in with those discussions... and I'm hoping you'll be one of them? *bats eyes*

	Oh. Huh. That's true... and I call myself a writer ;-) I guess I just meant that I was marathoning the seasons with myself and I was hoping people would be watching the episodes the same week as me. I'm so glad you'll be joining in :D (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Count me in! I WAS doing a marathon and finished the first season too but I couldn't handle Justin all broken at second season so I stopped watching it. Maybe this time I can pass that. :) (Reply to this) (Thread)
