Dear Glee,

First off, I really, really hope that your Bieber-love from last night was ironic. Secondly, Glee, why no Kurt?

Yours,
KJD, who still loves you.

EYE NOES! Firstly there is Bieber awefulness then, to make matters worse, there is no Kurt awesomeness! The episode would have been a total failure, if it weren't for the BA diva off to "Take me or leave me" which this RENT fan adored, like woah!

Oh, I thought the Bieber stuff was hilarious, but only because I assumed it was ironic and that the writers were making fun of it. Every so often, though, I'd think, "I really hope this isn't serious." But then I saw how ridiculous Finn looked with Bieber hair and just started laughing :D

I would have liked to see Kurt; I guess I've been spoiled, having so much of him this season, but as Ny points out down below, the show is an ensemble show, right? Like I said, I've been spoiled.

Yep, you've got a fellow Rent fan right here, darling. I would have loved to see the song in a little more context, but I still loved it, especially when the two of them started giggling at the end of it. And the Mike making out with Tina scene was awesome, too :D

I love kurt. I really really do. But I don't need him in the episode to have loved it. And I totally loved last nights episode. Especially the bieber stuff. Not because I like bieber because I don't, remotely, but because it was HILLARIOUS. I couldn't watch the bieber songs with a straight face. It was too funny. Made all the more funny by Sam's earnestness. Too cute.

I mean, i would love kurt to be in every episode, but there is no character for me that needs to be in every single episode, because the show isn't about individual characters. And the spirit of this episode felt a lot more like the glee i loved last season.

Also, Santana taking down quinn was a thing of beauty. Sorry, I'm mean, I know, whatever, she totally deserved it. Quinn has done some truly awful things over the two seasons, and I never understand why no one ever seems to care about that from one episode to the next. It totally made my day.

And the rent song was awesome, as was the MCR song. :D

Ny, who loves glee more this week than she did last week

Yep, you're totally right about this being an ensemble show. I guess I've just been spoilt by how much Kurt we've been getting this season. And don't get me wrong, I loved last night's episode, too. It was funny, it was quirky, it had some great songs, and it felt like Glee. I s'pose I should have thought more carefully before posting this; sometimes the fact that I'm laughing doesn't always come across online. Which is probably why I use too so many smilies. And yes, I'm resisting the urge to use one right now.

I also found the Bieber stuff hilarious, I really did, but every so often I'd think, "I really hope you're being ironic, writers"... and then they'd make another short joke and I'd realise they were. And then I'd start wondering again, 'cause that's what I do. But I totally agree with you that it was hilarious.

I agree with you about Quinn. When she kissed Finn, I was so ticked off with her for it. She needs to pick one guy and stay with him. Or find two who are willing to be part of a ménage à trois. But, I must admit, the gumball story made my day :D

you know what was funny about the bieber stuff? i totally took it as tongue-in-cheek, but then when I was talking to my 13 year old niece today. She had a very different take on it, she was all "the boys were so hot with that hair!" and "i don't really like bieber's music that much, but the hair is so cute" lol. so i guess they were spot on with the bat mitzvah stuff.

and yeah, laughter doesn't always come through online :D
